Chino Hills home residents can recycle their holiday trees quickly and easily this season from December 27th to January 7th.
Residents can recycle their trees by chopping them up and placing them in their “yard waste” containers or placing them on the ground next to their containers on the regular collection day between December 27th until January 7th.
All decorations, tinsel, and tree stands must be removed before recycling. All trees larger than six-feet tall must be cut in half in order to be eligible for pickup. Flocked trees cannot be recycled and must be chopped up and placed inside the trash container; or contact Republic Services at (866) 238-2444 for a free bulky item collection.
